Sushi Burrito – Handle it |

Ameer teaches you how to make a delicious Sushi Burrito, if you like sushi then this is definitely a recipe for you!

Nori (seaweed wraps)
4 Cups of white rice
2 Avocados
1 Bag of shredded carrots
2 Cucumbers
2 Sushi grade tuna filets
1 Package of crab sticks
1 Sriracha mayo
Tempura flakes

1 Tsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tsp sesame oil
1 Tsp lime juice
2 Tbsp Sriracha sauce

1 Small pot
1 Chef knife
1 Cutting board
Sushi roller

Step 1
In a small sauce pan bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then add 2 cups of rice. Reduce heat and cover with a lid for 5 to 7 minutes, until rice is cooked.

Step 2
Peel, and then cut avocados into slices then refrigerate immediately to prevent the avocado from browning.

Step 3
Remove skin from the cucumber then slice in half and begin cutting strips.

Step 4
Cut tuna into pieces, and season with 1 Tsp rice vinegar, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tsp sesame oil, 1 Tsp lime juice, 2 Tbsp Sriracha sauce and mix lightly.

Step 5
Lay down a sheet of nori then place 2 spoonfuls of rice onto it, and then flatten it. Start by adding 2 Spoonfuls of spicy tuna, Some crab sticks, Sriracha mayo, Cucumbers, shredded carrots, avocado slices then sprinkle on some tempura flakes and begin to roll the sushi up until closed.

How to Make a Heart Shaped Cake |

Heart-shaped cakes aren’t just for Valentine’s Day. Learn how to make a heart-shaped cakes to serve at birthdays, anniversaries, or whenever! Mix up your cake batter — a chocolate cake recipe is included here, but you can use any cake you like — and bake your cake in heart-shaped molds or bake them in standard baking pans, cutting the cakes to make a heart shape. Then frost and decorate to add a special touch.
1 tsp. butter, for preparing pan
1 tbsp. flour, for preparing pan
Cooking spray, optional for preparing pan
3/4 cup unsweetened Dutch cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
3/4 cup low-fat buttermilk
3/4 cup warm water
3 tablespoons safflower oil
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Food coloring (red, blue, etc.)

Making a Heart-Shaped Cake With a Mold:

Preheat your oven. Turn on the oven to 350 °F (177 °C).

Prepare your heart-shaped mold/baking pans. Grease and flour two 8 or 9 inch (20.3 or 22.9 cm) heart-shaped baking pans by rubbing about a teaspoon of butter all over the bottom and sides of each pan. Add a tablespoon of flour and gently tilt the pan, so the flour covers the surface. Shake the excess flour out of the pans and throw it away.

If you don’t want to butter and flour the pans, you can also spray the molds with non-stick cooking spray.

Whisk together dry ingredients. Combine the cocoa, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl of a mixer.
Add wet ingredients to bowl and beat. Add the eggs, buttermilk, water, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until completely smooth, about 3 minutes.
Pour your batter into the cake molds. Try to evenly distribute the batter between both pans.
Bake cakes for about 35 minutes. Check to see if the cakes are done by inserting a toothpick or cake tester into the center of each cake. The toothpick or tester should come out clean.

Remove the cakes from the oven and cool. Let them cool in the pans for about 15 minutes. If removing them from the pans, flip them out and let them cool completely on a wire rack.

Frost and decorate and enjoy.

Carrot Cake Recipe |

Here is my favourite carrot cake recipe.

Here is what you need:
4 eggs
1,3cups / 3dl sugar
1,3cups / 3dl all purpose flour
2tsp baking soda
1,5tsp baking powder
2/3tbsp cinnamon
1tsp vanilla sugar
4 carrots, grated
0,4cup / 1dl vegetable oil

For the topping:
200g cream cheese
1,7cups / 4dl powdered sugar
1tsp vanilla sugar
1tbsp orange zest
juice of 1/2 orange

Preheat oven to 180c / 355f.
Start with the dry ingredients. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and vanilla sugar.
On another large bowl beat the eggs and sugar. Add the grated carrots. Add the dry ingredients and the oil.
Bake in oven about 40 minutes.
Let the cake cool down and make the topping.
Combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla sugar, orange zest and orange juice.
Pour it up of the cake. Decorate with nuts.
Let the cake cool down about 1 hour in fridge before serving.

Flaky N’ Tender Apple Strudel (Requested Recipe) 🍏🍎 |

Hello my Friends!

My Friend Bigg requested a Apple Strudel Recipe….This is so delicious and flavorful it reminds me of a Homemade Apple Pie! I used Granny Smith Apples but you can use any kind of Apple.

1 jumbo egg
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 tbsp. raisins
1 Puff Pastry Sheet, thawed

Note: Let the Apples sit for a few minutes so the juices come out.

Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees

In a small bowl, beat egg and water together and set aside. In a large bowl, add apples, raisins, white sugar, lemon juice, flour, and spices; toss to coat and set aside. Sprinkle additional flour on the work surface. Unfold the pastry sheet on the work surface. Roll the pastry sheet into a 16 x 12-inch rectangle. With the short side facing you, spoon the apple mixture onto the bottom half of the pastry sheet to within 1 inch of the edge and roll it up. Place seam-side down onto a greased foiled 9×13 inch baking sheet. Tuck the ends under to seal. Brush the pastry with the egg mixture. Cut several slits in the top of the pastry. Bake for 35 Minutes until light golden brown. Cool on wire rack and let it set for another 25 Minutes. Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Puff Pastry Sticks |

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Spread the dough onto a flat surface. Cut it into strips.
Whisk the egg and coat the dough strips with it.
Spread on the sticks different seasoning, like black and white sesame seeds, cumin seeds, salt, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and chili flakes.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Serve simple or with your favorite dip.
